March 2, 2010
Luci’s frustration with Purolator in delivering her grad application,
Liam comes home from Haiti with a renewed sense of hope,
Karen stops writing in haikus and wants to run for VUSAC E&E,
Em’s Brazilian friends drop by as she longs to learn French in Quebec,
Leo demands the (im)possible from S. House: a clean kitchen,
Craig comes back from Vancouver and skating competition,
Laura will dance at the Vic variety show on March 25th,
Jorge is crafting new songs with Em’s guitar,
Andrew stops taking Russian courses and will concentrate on English,
and Joe has a pile of clothes outside his door for goodwill.
None of this compares to a nation united by the Vancouver 2010 Olympic spirit, just as parliament resumes from its months-long prorogation, ready to present a contentious budget.
